Rev. Rene Desmarais Fund

Four St. Clair County students have started off their college careers at St. Clair County Community College with less of a financial burden thanks to the Rev. Rene Desmarais Fund.
Sarah Cook, Abigail Weaver, Shane Richardson and Rachel King (pictured at right) all received $500 scholarships to attend SC4 this semester.
Sarah Cook (pictured at left) plans to receive her associates degree before moving on to the SC4 Nursing Program. Her dream is to become a pediatric nurse and the scholarship has allowed her to continue going to school full time on a limited income.
