2014/2015 Scholarship Awards

Summer has barely begun, but around here it’s scholarship season for Fall 2014.

Our 31 different scholarship funds just announced their funding for next school year.  Among the highlights;

• 87 total scholarship awards
• $140,000 in total funding
• Our James Wilhelm Fund provided over $12,000
• Our Howard A. Acheson Fund provided $31,000
• Our Vera Fuller Hansen Fund provided $20,000
• Our John & Rose Marie Wismer Fund provided two students with $5,000 each

Overall, SC4 was the top favorite this year with 17 scholarships.  U of M had 10 and MSU had 8.  Students are going as far north as Michigan Tech and as far west as Grand Rapids.
