Beth Belanger - Donor Spotlight

Posted on January 1, 2006

imageSometimes it’s just too difficult to keep a good thing quiet. Such is the case for our own Beth Belanger, who appeared on the cover of the January 2006 edition of Savvy Magazine.

imageBeth was a leading philanthropist in the Port Huron area long before she joined the Board of the Community Foundation. Today, her passion for giving back is evident in her tireless efforts to serve children through the programs of the Women’s Initiative. When she isn’t providing financial support she is providing personal time and experience.

Sometimes though she just gives hard labor and sweat, as she did in the photo (right) from August 2005 when she joined other community leaders as “Celebrity Chefs” for the Foundation’s Back to School event.
