Arts Events in September

The Blue Water Film Festival and the Lexington Bach Festival- who both received grants from the Blue Water Arts Committee- are taking place this month.
The Lexington Arts Council received a $7,500 grant from the Arts Committee to support the Bach festival that is being held September 13-15. The festival aims to provide quality classical music performances, provide music education through a performance lecture series and to increase the awareness among youth through school based classical concerts. The Blue Water Film Festival will be using a $5,000 grant to help bring the Film Festival to St. Clair County for the 5th year. The Film Festival will be held September 27-28 at McMorran Theatre in Port Huron. For more information on the Film Festival, visit Bluewaterfilmfestival.com
