2011 Summer Intern

The Community Foundation of St. Clair County is seeking a part-time summer intern for 2011. This is a paid position available in early May and lasting throughout the summer.
This would be an ideal internship for a college student with a demonstrated interest in philanthropy and community service. We are looking for candidates who can work 20 hours per week with some early mornings and some late evenings.
Successful candidates will need their own reliable transportation as some travel will be required. We do reimburse for appropriate mileage costs, excluding driving to and from the Foundation offices.
This position will work with our small staff on a range of duties including;
- Staffing our front desk and greeting visitors and answering phones
- Assisting with the coordination, planning and implementation of events and programs
- Assisting with special mailings and communications with volunteers and donors
- Assisting with the continued use of social media to promote the work of our donors and volunteers
- Assisting staff with keeping our website populated with current news, information and updated photos
- Other general responsibilities as may be assigned by Foundation staff
