$1.9 million awarded in grants

The year 2015 completed with the foundation just shy of granting $1.9 million to over 110 different organizations.

A couple of recent grant highlights include:

Our Thankful Thursday competition throughout November saw four organizations receive an extra $500 to close out their year: Imagination Library, Humane Society of St. Clair County SNAP, Hunter Hospitality House and Kimball Elementary School PTA.
Various clubs at Port Huron Northern received a boost from our Wyatt Walker Friendship Fund to help them complete projects in 2016. Grant awards to the seven different clubs totaled $3,200.
The International Symphony Orchestra and the Port Huron Museum each received $5,000 for general operations.
